We were previously collaborating with FHE Shoestring- Waiuku. However, in 2024 we branched out to provide our own group in the Pukekohe area starting with our inaugural production in February 2024 of "Joe of Arabia".

 

We have around 18 young people participating ranging in age from 8-18yrs. Within two weeks the young people learn their roles, select their costumes, assemble the props, design the stage set, and stage-manage the show themselves. For many of them this was the first time performing. The skills acquired during the eleven-day period are far reaching, and not contained to the 'theatre' experience, but 'whole of life'.
